Avoid toxic comments for stree & distraction-free browsing experience!
Comment sections across the internet have caused a lot more harm than good. Over the years, they have strayed away from their original intention of being places for reasonable, civil discourse and have evolved into avenues for propaganda, hate-speech, trolls, and profanity. Their impact on society has been largely divisive. For individuals using the internet, comment sections are distracting, stress-inducing, and overwhelming. They seldom have a positive impact on their readers.
Hence we are on a quest to block comment sections across the internet. We want to provide our users with a stress and distraction free browsing experience, which we believe will increase their productivity and quality of life in general. We also hope that this will eventually bridge some of the divisions that we have seen develop in our society in the recent times.
With all of this said, we want to be clear that we aren't against internet discussions in general. In fact, there are many amazing discussion forums across the internet like Reddit, Zeeker, and Stackoverflow, which enable useful and helpful discussions. Our focus is really to block toxic comment sections -- the ones you’d find in news sites, facebook, under youtube videos etc.
